A Return to the Mediterranean

Some places stay with you long after you leave them.
Europe has always been one of those places for me.
This time, I returned for a very special reason - a family holiday. We travelled through Paros, Mykonos, Positano, Capri, Mallorca and Ibiza, spending slow summer days together, swimming in the Mediterranean, wandering through little streets and making the kind of memories that stay with you long after the holiday is over.

Of course, I brought my camera with me.
But this time, I wasn't looking for the perfect postcard photograph. I found myself drawn to the quieter moments. Sun-washed walls, faded shutters, linen moving in the breeze, long lunches and the beautiful simplicity of everyday life.

I'm less interested in simply documenting where I am and more interested in capturing how it feels to be there. The warmth of the light. The stillness of an afternoon. The colours, textures and little details that make a place unforgettable.
And perhaps that's why returning to Europe felt so special. I wasn't just photographing beautiful places. I was photographing a beautiful time in our lives at somewhere that has always inspired me.
These photographs are a way of holding onto that feeling, long after we've come home.
