Endless Blue

I didn't choose it. It chose me.
I've always been drawn to colour, but this trip, one kept following me.
Blue.
The sea, of course. That particular Mediterranean blue that shifts from turquoise to navy depending on the hour and the light. Then the doors, weathered and sun-bleached from decades of salt air, that I found myself photographing again and again. And the shadows, which turn blue too, late in the day, cool against warm stone.
I'm not sure I can explain why it found me this time. Maybe it's simply the colour of distance, of longing, of somewhere else.
Whatever the reason, it became the quiet thread running through everything I photographed this trip. A new collection is beginning to take shape around it.
I'm not ready to share more just yet.
But I wanted you to know where it started.
